Immersive Outdoor ADHD Experiences | Galena, Ohio

Some of the most meaningful growth happens outside an office

Our immersive experiences bring ADHD expertise and mental health skill-building into the open air, where you learn by doing, moving, and connecting with others.

Through a partnership with a working farm in Galena, Ohio, just north of Columbus, we offer in-person intensives, groups, workshops, and retreats that blend nature, outdoor education, and clinically grounded support. No classroom, no office chairs, just real skills practiced in a real setting.

Why We Take Mental Health Outdoors

hands-on-outdoor-learning-adhd-teens

ADHD brains often thrive with movement, novelty, and hands-on experience. Nature offers all three. When skills are practiced in the moment, while exploring the woods, solving a challenge as a team, or waiting patiently for a fish to bite, they tend to stick.

Our immersive model gives participants:

Learning through experience. Skills are practiced in real time, not just discussed.
Movement built in. Physical activity supports focus, regulation, and confidence.
Connection with peers. Shared challenges build communication and teamwork naturally.
A calmer setting. Open space and fresh air make it easier to slow down, notice, and reset.
Expert guidance throughout. Every experience is designed and led by ADHD specialists.

Our Galena Partnership

We have partnered with a farm property in Galena, Ohio, to create a dedicated home for in-person, nature-based programming. The land includes woods to explore, water for fishing, and open space for team challenges and reflection.

This partnership allows us to offer something rare in Central Ohio: experiences that combine outdoor education with the clinical depth of an ADHD and mental health practice. We are actively growing these programs and welcome conversations with families, adults, schools, and organizations who want to be part of what comes next.

Experiences We Offer

Each experience is in person, small in size, and built around a clear set of skills. Offerings rotate by season, and many can be customized.

Youth and Teen Skill-Building Groups

Multi-week outdoor groups for tweens and teens. Through exploring the woods, fishing, nature-based challenges, and teamwork, participants build regulation, confidence, and connection while having fun outside.

Drop-In Day Programs for School Breaks

When school is out, kids can spend a full day outdoors practicing mental health skills through games, exploration, and guided activities. A great option for teacher workdays, winter break, spring break, and summer.

Adult Intensives

Focused, immersive days for adults who want meaningful progress in a short period of time. Intensives combine ADHD education, reflection, and hands-on outdoor activities to help you understand your brain and build strategies you will actually use.

Workshops and Outdoor Education

Half-day and full-day workshops on topics such as understanding ADHD, emotional regulation, stress and resilience, and healthy communication, taught in an engaging, active format.

Employee and Company Retreats

Give your team a day away from screens and meeting rooms. Our retreats blend team challenges, communication skills, and wellbeing education in a natural setting, led by clinicians with years of experience supporting workplaces. Each retreat is designed around your goals.
