What It Means When Your ADHD Coach Is Actually Certified in ADHD

We are proud to announce that Jean Tidd has earned the ADHD-CCSP certification, making her an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider.

This is a nationally recognized specialty credential, and it is not a weekend workshop. Earning it requires a minimum of 30 hours of specialized ADHD education covering diagnosis, medication, executive functioning, relationships, and workplace strategies, plus 200 hours of direct clinical experience working with ADHD clients. It is a rigorous, intentional add-on to an already accomplished licensed clinical career.

For Jean, it is also a natural next step. She has spent years working at the intersection of clinical practice and ADHD advocacy. This certification reflects what she has always brought to her work. Now it is formally recognized.

Why this matters if you have ADHD

This translates into something real and tangible. A certified specialist understands how ADHD shows up in adults, not just children. They know how ADHD overlaps with anxiety, depression, RSD, and relationship patterns. They are trained in evidence based strategies that go beyond symptom management. And they stay current, because recertification requires ongoing education every two years.

If you or someone you love has ADHD, working with a clinician who has done this level of specialized training means you are less likely to spend months in therapy that was not built with your brain in mind.

Congratulations, Jean.

This community is fortunate to have you, and we could not be prouder of the standard you continue to set.

If you are interested in working with our team or learning more about our ADHD services, we would love to hear from you.
